Valor Harbor
Finding Peace After Service
Welcome to Valor Harbor, MOVE’s barrier-free talk-therapy program for Veterans, Service Members, and their families. Our goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where Veterans, Service Members, and their families can access comprehensive mental health services tailored to their unique experiences and needs.
Barrier-free truly means barrier-free, no Veteran is turned away due to their chosen branch of service, length of service, discharge status, or inability to pay. We’re proud to offer these services and resources for Veterans at no cost thanks to the generous support of our community partners and donors. By removing financial barriers, we’re able to provide the highest quality care to those who need it most.

The Team
Valor Harbor is staffed by a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about serving those who have served and their families. Our therapists and counselors are trained in trauma-informed care, ensuring that every interaction is respectful, empathetic, and effective.
We believe in the resilience and strength of those we serve. We are here to support your journey towards healing and well-being, providing the tools and resources you need to thrive.

The Healing Process
Talk-therapy plays a vital role in the healing process for many Veterans, providing a safe, judgement-free space to process past experiences, manage stress, and rebuild emotional wellbeing. At MOVE, our Valor Harbor program offers access to local Veterans, recognizing that mental health is just as important as physical health. For Veterans who have experienced trauma, loss, or major life transitions, talk-therapy can be a powerful tool in regaining a sense of control, connection, and hope for the future.

Our Talk-Therapy Space
For our Valor Harbor program exclusively, we have rented office space close to the Jefferson Barracks VA in the municipality of Crestwood in St. Louis County. This is where our clinical team and therapists come together to provide these services to our community’s Veterans and their family members.

Through our Valor Harbor program, we proudly partner with Give an Hour to provide confidential, no-cost mental health services to Veterans and their families. By participating in Give an Hour, we aim to bridge the gap in mental health care, ensuring that those who have served our country receive the support they need to thrive.
