Helping Veterans Overcome Barriers

At Missouri Veterans Endeavor, we’re committed to helping Veterans overcome the challenges that stand between them and a stable, fulfilling future. Many Veterans in our program face barriers such as unemployment, financial hardship, and difficulties transitioning into civilian life. Through our comprehensive support system, we provide the guidance and assistance they need to rebuild their lives with dignity and independence. By addressing immediate needs and setting long-term goals, we empower those who have served to regain stability, achieve self-sufficiency, and thrive in their communities.

Services We Provide

Housing Icon

Long-Term Supportive Housing

Our long-term supportive housing program provides stable, affordable housing for Veterans in a sober environment as they work towards independence. We are a 21-unit apartment site, housing up to 40 Veterans and their families. With access to on-site resources and personalized support, residents can focus on rebuilding their lives and achieving lasting stability.

Therapy Icon

Therapy

The Veterans in our program receive access to individual, group, couples, and family therapy to support their mental and emotional well-being. These services help our Veterans process their experiences, strengthen relationships, and develop healthy coping strategies.

Case Management Icon

Clinical Case Management

Each Veteran in the MOVE program meets weekly with a dedicated social worker to address the challenges that brought them to us. Through personalized support and action plans, we help them build the skills and resources needed for long-term well-being. Our licensed clinicians and social workers, trained in Veteran care, mental health, and substance abuse, use the most effective, evidence-based interventions to ensure lasting outcomes.

Transportation Icon

Transportation

We coordinate and/or provide transportation to our Veterans and their dependents, ensuring they have reliable access to essential services, employment, and community resources. By removing the transportation barrier, we help Veterans stay connected and increase accessibility on their path to stability.

Emergency Services Icon

Emergency Assistance

Our emergency assistance services help Veterans facing unexpected financial hardship by providing direct support for urgent expenses. For those experiencing homelessness during extreme weather, we offer emergency Veteran housing and bridge housing to ensure their safety.

Childcare Icon

Childcare Assistance

We understand that access to reliable childcare is essential for Veterans working towards stability and independence. That’s why we assist our Veterans with childcare expenses, helping them focus on employment, education, and personal growth. By easing this financial burden, we’re able to support both Veterans and their families in building a secure future.

Ongoing Support for Long-Term Success

Our commitment to the Veterans in our community doesn't end when immediate needs are met. We provide continued guidance as each individual transitions toward greater independence, whether that's moving into permanent housing, advancing in a job opportunity, or reconnecting with family. By focusing on sustainable progress and offering consistent support, we help Veterans lay the foundation for a brighter, more secure future.

They have helped me with so many areas that I needed help with. They helped me with the move when I was stressed out and was so afraid I wasn’t going to be able to afford everything, they came through. They are amazing and definitely an asset to Veterans.
