Our Promise

Mission
Our mission is to provide housing, support in overcoming barriers, and hope to at-risk and homeless Veterans and their families, empowering them to build a brighter future.

Vision
We endeavor to end Veteran homelessness by helping Veterans and their families transform and rebuild their lives in a stable, supportive community where they can feel safe, valued, and hopeful.
Looking Ahead
At MOVE, we’re committed to growing our impact and remaining a trusted leader in Veteran services. As the needs of our Veteran community evolve, we will continually identify service gaps and implement the most effective, evidence-based clinical practices. Our aim is to expand our housing programs and outreach efforts across the region, ensuring more Veterans and their families have access to safe, supportive communities.
We strive to be a resource not only for Veterans, but also for our peers in the service provider network and the VA, offering guidance, collaboration, and leadership rooted in experience and compassion. As we look to the future, we remain focused on reaching Veterans who are isolated or underserved, and on addressing critical issues such as mental health, substance use, housing insecurity, and community reintegration.

What Makes Us Unique
- More Than Housing – We provide a lifeline for at-risk or homeless Veterans and their families, creating a safe and supportive community where our residents are truly a valued, appreciated member.
- Comprehensive Support – From job training to mental healthcare, family services, and rehabilitation, we empower Veterans to rebuild their lives, reawakening their sense of purpose.
- Veteran-Centered Approach – Every program at MOVE is tailored to honor the sacrifices of those who served, ensuring they feel valued and supported every step of the way.
- Transparent & Engaging Giving – Our donors receive clear reporting, impactful transformation stories of our past and current members, and opportunities to stay connected.
- Restoring Hope & Dignity – We help homeless Veterans and their families find stability, purpose, and community during a challenging time in their lives.

"MOVE is a true Veteran Community,
which makes our organization distinctly unique. All of our Veterans and Veteran families come to us experiencing homelessness, but once they are assessed for their needs and goals and they move in with us, they sign a lease, which officially ends their episode of homelessness." – Bill Wallace – MOVE Founder and Executive Director
